When night meets day on La Palma
During my workshop on La Palma with Konstantinos, the paradise for astronomers and photographers in August 2023, we witnessed a lot of nice views of the unique landscape and splendid night sky. At around a period of maximum of Perseids meteor shower, it was even more interesting. But one of the best views I had the luck to see was early morning zodiacal light immersing from morning dawn above the sea of clouds. We spent a night in one of the best places near the top of the island of La Palma waiting for a glimpse to happen. The panorama was taken just after the end of astronomical night, so a beautiful purple glow above the eastern horizon can be seen.
